IMPORTANT UPDATE!!

Greetings from “YOUR” Scottish Rite Foundation!

As I mentioned last month, the Orlando Valley has a 2018 financial goal of $56,370 of which we have raised $26,367. As you may know, $10,000 is donated annually from a trust that was set up from Ill:. Albert Isaacs and the remaining $16,367 came from you, for which we are very grateful. Currently, we have a shortfall of $30,003 which we have until June 30, 2018, to raise.

I am pleased to announce that we have identified an entity that is willing to match the money raised by the brethren, dollar for dollar, to help us meet our goal! What is even more exciting is that they have agreed to go retroactive to July 1, 2017, matching the $16,367 we have already raised! What that means is that leaves us with a total raised of $42,734 and a balance needed of $13,636. So, to meet our goal, we need to raise $6,818!

The source of matching funds has a great appreciation for the work that we do with the children.  Their only condition of doing this is that they insist on remaining completely anonymous and we assured them that we would ultimately respect this request.

As if this was not enough exciting news I have more! As I mentioned last year, each dollar you donate gets you one Double Eagle Point, but until June 30th, 2018, the remainder of the Foundation fiscal year, you will get TWO POINTS for every dollar donated while we are getting the matching funds!

BREAKING NEWS!!

In the days following the announcement at January 26, 2018, meeting, I had a conversation with the donor and informed them of the positive feedback we had. The donor told me that if the Orlando Valley meets our goal by June 30th, 2018 THEY WILL COMMIT TO US FOR THE 2019 YEAR AS WELL!

Please ensure your donations are in the mail to Ill Keith by the 15th of June 2018, so he can make sure they are processed and deposited by the 30th of June 2018 and that they will count toward the 2017/18 fiscal year for the Foundation.

While we currently have kids on our waiting list, this is some inspiring news for our Valley and the Scottish Rite Foundation. If you can, please consider donating to our Scottish Rite Foundation so we can make our goals and help our kids.

In closing, I thank you for all you have done, are doing, and will do for our fraternity.

Fraternally,
Jay Cebollero, 32° KCCH
