My Brothers All:
Ill:. Keith read the below quote, and additional comments and sent to me for inclusion in this edition of the eNews. They very nicely sum up how both he and I felt, along with many of you who attended and participated in our Fall Reunion in our new environment. We achieved what we did in our new environment because of the teamwork displayed over that weekend. Yes, we will need to adjust based upon what we learned, but we have taken the first step and will continue to fine tune our Reunion in our new environment, and ensure the experience our new Masters of The Royal Secret receive is one they will remember.

“The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don’t play together, the club won’t be worth a dime.” ~ Babe Ruth
We value individual skills, celebrating them with praise, awards, and money. But few achievements are entirely the work of a single individual. Most involve collaboration to some degree. Personal success depends not only on individual performance but on the support of colleagues, friends, and family.
Learning how to use one’s individual skills to work well in a group is a lifelong challenge. Luckily, it’s also an enjoyable challenge. We can be proud when we have a personal success, but there’s something especially wonderful about being part of a team that’s successful.
I know how much I depend on the efforts and talents of those I work and play with.

As a reminder, our November meeting on the will be the election and installation of officers for 2018. We will start with dinner at 6:30 PM. After dinner, we will hold a short tyled meeting to elect officers for the 2018 calendar year followed by an open installation of officers.
Until next time, remember the many things for which you are thankful! Be safe in your travels; “whisper wise counsel in the ear of an erring brother;” and respect the dignity of all, as it makes you and our fraternity stronger one action at a time. We are realizing the benefits of Scottish Rite Freemasonry as we actively participate today. We want to ensure that what we are enjoying today will be strong for those who will follow. Simply stated – “We lead the way today, so those who follow us can lead the way tomorrow!” Thanks for your continued support and participation; and may the “Spirit of Fraternity” reign supreme within our “Valley of Orlando!”
Fraternally,
Ill:. Chester A. “Chet” King, 33°
