My Brothers all:

The Valley of Orlando will be hosting a make-up KCCH Investiture Ceremony to welcome two brothers who were unable to join us for the Honors Weekend Investiture. The investiture will take place on Saturday the 7th of December at our meeting location of 1495 Grand Rd, Winter Park FL  32792. There will be a light continental breakfast/social period from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., followed by the KCCH investiture starting at 10:00 a.m. sharp.  This make-up Investiture will be open to family, friends, and brothers, as was done in Tampa.  We look forward to having many of our members and their families in attendance to congratulate these two new 32° KCCH brothers after receiving their honors.

As you are aware, we will celebrate a successful 2019 with a “Holiday Party” for members on the 13th of December 2019. Included in this edition of the eNews is a flyer with details. Please note that attendance is limited to 150 and will require tickets — no ticket sales at the door. The cut-off date for ticket sales was Friday the 15th of November; however, there might still be tickets available. To ensure you do not miss a good time as we close out the year, please call Ill. Keith early this coming week (the 4th of December) at 407-657-4550 to see if there are tickets still available. Please do not wait; we would love to have you join us, but only Ill. Keith or Jay Cebollero will know if there are tickets still available.

During the non-biennial year, the Supreme Council will be offering Scottish Rite Workshops. Information can be found online at https://scottishrite.org/

Charlotte, NC, is planned to be the home for one of the 2020 Scottish Rite Workshops on March 13th and 14th. You can go to the Supreme Council website, click on the link for the workshops, and register there. You will also be able to book your hotel room from your confirmation page. If you are going to attend this Scottish Rite Workshop, please let Ill. Keith or I know, as our Deputy Ill. Rick Hoover will be arriving there on Thursday March 12th, and leaving on Sunday March 15th, and would like to meet with the Florida contingent on Friday morning before the session starts.

Until next time, remember the many things for which you are thankful!  Be safe in your travels; “whisper wise counsel in the ear of an erring brother;” and respect the dignity of all, as it makes you and our fraternity stronger one action at a time.  We want to ensure that what we are enjoying today will be strong for those who will follow.  Simply stated – “We lead the way today, so those who follow us can lead the way tomorrow!”  Thanks for your continued support and participation; and may the “Spirit of Fraternity” reign supreme within our “Valley of Orlando!”

Fraternally,

Ill:. Chester A. “Chet” King, 33°
