My Brothers all:

As I have shared in several past editions of the eNews, the up and coming Coronation and Investiture of our newly elected Orient-wide Honorees.  These ceremonies will again take place at the Valley of Tampa on the weekend of November the 9th and 10th.  The Ceremony of Coronation for new 33° Inspectors Generals will take place the morning of November 9th, the Ceremony of Investiture of new Knights Commanders of the Court of Honour will take place the afternoon of the 9th, and in the evening of the 9th will be the Celebratory Banquet.  I mentioned in my previous article and am again pleased to share with you that the KCCH Investiture Ceremony will be open to family, friends, and fellow brothers!  That means many who in the past were not able to gain admission will be able to witness the KCCH Investiture.  Included in this edition of the eNews are details on the Orient of Florida Honors weekend.  I encourage you to read the detailed information, complete your registration form, and submit it.  Please note that hotel reservations are to be made by you, so please make them as soon as possible.

Our stated meeting on the 27th of September will start with dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by an overview of the Feast of Tishri, and the traditional toasting.  We will then move to the Lodge room for a tyled meeting where the Lodge of Perfection will open and conduct the meeting where we will recommit ourselves to the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite through the obligation of the 14th degree!

Our Fall of 2019 reunion on the 12th and 13th of October is quickly approaching. Now is the time to remind those Master Masons you have been encouraging to take an advance in Freemasonry by joining the Scottish Rite, that the time has come to submit to you their petition. When received please get it to Ill Keith so we can ensure we are prepared for what I hope will be a sizable class. Your membership efforts are greatly appreciated and will go a long way toward growing membership. I know you have heard the phrase “Each One, Reach One!” This approach can create a noticeable growth in membership, along with education and a genuine spirit of Fraternity.

Until next time, remember the many things for which you are thankful!  Be safe in your travels; “whisper wise counsel in the ear of an erring brother;” and respect the dignity of all, as it makes you and our fraternity stronger one action at a time.  We want to ensure that what we are enjoying today will be strong for those who will follow.  Simply stated – “We lead the way today, so those who follow us can lead the way tomorrow!”  Thanks for your continued support and participation; and may the “Spirit of Fraternity” reign supreme within our “Valley of Orlando!”

Fraternally,

Ill:. Chester A. “Chet” King, 33°
