My Brothers All: Our September meeting, scheduled on Friday the 22nd, will start with dinner at 6:30 pm, followed by a celebration of the Feast of Tishri where ILL Brother Marty Schwebel will provide an overview of the event and will lead us in offering appropriate toasts. After this the celebration we will move into the Lodge Room where the Lodge of Perfection will be opened for a tyled meeting, where ILL Bert Nelson will re-obligate us in the 14th Degree. Please join us!

Remember, the “Master Craftsman” program is available to all who are interested. It will assist you in gaining a better understanding of The Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, as well as the basics of Freemasonry. As previously shared with you, we have a very active Master Craftsman study group program within the Valley available to you. I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. If interested, please contact ILL Keith our Valley Secretary at 407- 657- 4550 or via eMail at GenSecOrl@gmail.com to assist you in getting started and ensuring you are added to the mailing list to receive all invitations to participate via ZOOM. Keep in mind that participating in a study group enhances the Master Craftsman experience for everyone and starts the building of fraternal friendships between those brothers who participate.

The Fall Reunion is around the corner and will take place on Saturday and Sunday the 14th and 15th of October. For those who are in the associated degrees, now is the time for rehearsing and practicing your particular degree to assist in creating memories for those Brothers who will join the Valley of Orlando. The initial planning meeting has been held. You are encouraged to get in those last rehearsals to continue raising the bar.

In each eNews article, you are encouraged to read the bi-monthly Scottish Rite Journal to enjoy the excellent articles and information to continue growing and learning about Freemasonry, especially the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. At the start of the 2022 year, through the eNews, we started sharing short articles on notable Brothers within the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. This section has expanded and is titled “Notable Brothers of Free and Accepted Masonry.” To date we have enjoyed featured articles on Albert Pike, Brother Robert Burns, Masonic Presidents, Albert Gallatin Mackey and Benjamin Franklin, Buzz Aldrin, Harry Houdini, and ILL Brother Ernest Borgnine. Check out who is featured this month, I am sure you will enjoy it. I offer my thanks to Brother Den Ardinger who is researching and preparing the articles.

The KCCH (Knights Commander Court of Honor) will be hosting a fall social with details listed below. If you will be participating, please contact David Rosenthal and let him know how many are in your party so we can ensure there is sufficient seating.
